A Plan To Lose Weight Fast

Do we have enough diet information? Actually, we already have more than enough. We really don't need more. It can be time-consuming sifting through all the noise in order to find the best diet information or that one outstanding diet program.

And, in my humble opinion, I don't think it consists of eating tons of meat and fat each day. That is never a wise idea. Our bodies definitely demand more than just protein and calories. If we remove all the carbs, we're missing out on heaps of vegetables and fruits like broccoli and apples. That's a bad plan. The best plan to loose weight fast is finding a proper balance.

There's more to losing weight than just eating right. Adhering to a well-balanced diet consisting of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meats, "good" oils and water is a good start, but you need to incorporate some physical activity as well. This is especially true for those wishing to lose weight fast.

Be realistic; you're not going to lose 20 pounds each week. This is an unachievable goal. I'd think a bit more gradual; about 7 lbs max for men and 4 lbs for women. After all, you don't want to acquire horrific stretch marks and loose skin. This can occur in individuals who lose weight too rapidly.

Now, about that diet. Here's a tip that everyone should follow, whether dieting or not. Forget about the traditional "3 meals per day" routine. This isn't the way to lose weight fast. You need to eat more meals. I know, you probably weren't expecting that. But, it's true and here's why. When people consume three heavy meals a day, they eat too much and end up with extra calories that their body stores as fat.

This is not good! You want to extract everything good out of what you take in and… burn it off. This is why five, or even six, small meals a day are better. Also, this keeps your metabolic rate up. This is what's required to loose weight fast. And remember, don't let it slow down again or you'll end up gaining the weight back.

In summary, stay active; about 60 to 90 minutes of physical activity per day for losing weight, and eat 5 or 6 small — about 300 calorie — meals per day. You'll be losing those pounds in no time at all!
