Disaster! What with the heat wave–drank a lot of water–a birthday barbecue and some wine with an old friend, I somehow gained 5.4 lbs this week. Ugh.
This week’s disappointing numbers:
Today’s weight: 284.6
Last Wednesday’s weight: 279.2
Weekly weight loss (gain): (5.4)

O-kay, this week was a wash. If you read Week 1, you’ll know that I stated “…a weekly ‘progress report’ will force me to see the bigger picture…”. Now I see; if I don’t keep track of my daily caloric intake and exercise expenditure, it’s going to be much harder to lose the weight.
