There are a myriad ways to lose weight fast, but few will have lasting results. Many people want a quick weight loss method even though they know that the pounds may eventually reappear. The desire to lose weight fast is strong — especially just before summer — but the need to keep the pounds off is more important.
One of the easiest ways to lose weight fast is by reducing or even eliminating certain foods. Not to imply that this is simple by any stretch of the imagination, but it can be very effective.
This tactic does take a ton of will power and you will find that there are a lot of foods that you can’t eat as compared to foods that you can. Also, you’ll want to cut out vegetables that have a lot of sugar as well, such as, peas, corn and carrots. These foods can be slowly added back into your diet over time.
You might now be asking; “What on earth is left for me to eat?” Your rapid weight loss diet is strict and consists of lean proteins and leafy green vegetables. Soy protein is best. If you can consume 25 grams of soy protein every day and minimize sugars you will lose weight fast. Low calorie vegetables that are high in potassium are important to maintain your muscles — including your heart.
Of course, water and exercise are an important part of your daily routine as well. If you can stomach eating (mostly) veggies and lean proteins for a week or so, plus getting at least 48 ounces of water and 60 minutes of exercise per day, you will definitely lose weight fast. I know it doesn’t sound at all appealing, but it works extremely well if you want drop the pounds quickly.
Obviously, the initial quick weight loss will not be maintained if you return to your old ways in short manner. You can, however, jump start your diet if you choose this method. On a final note, you’ll want to consult your doctor if you want to lose weight fast. This is an important first step in any weight loss plan.
