Article Posting Rules

Article Posting Rules (and Tips)

Please use the following guidelines and conditions for posting your article:

  • Be original. Keeping it real, insightful and honest will get you published, plagiarized (copied) material will get you deleted.
    • TIP: It is to your advantage to make sure each post has unique and original words in it — search engines (and I) don’t like duplicate content. Also, make your title the best it can be.
  • Your article must be about diet, weight loss or nutrition — anything else will be deleted.
  • Proper grammar and spelling is paramount. I will delete articles that have poor grammar and spelling.
    • TIP: Use the built-in spell checker.
  • Article size should be from 250 to 800 words, with at least 350 words being ideal.
  • My editors are allowed to edit spelling, grammar and formatting. We will not alter the intention or meaning of the article.
  • I may or may not contact you if your article (and account) is deleted.
  • It’s OK to put one (only) link in your article. Any more, and you will be deleted.
    • TIP: Use keywords for your link — as opposed to your site URL — they count for more in the search engines.
  • You are allowed to link to any page — including your home page — only one time. That is, once you link to, for example, www.exampleurl.com once, that’s it. No more links to that page will be allowed.
    • TIP: Write articles that relate to your internal pages and link to them (only once). Example: www.exampleurl.com/pageone.html, …/pagetwo.html, etc…
  • Do not post more than one (1) article per day.
  • Please choose (check mark) the appropriate categorie(s) for your article. Choose the best three (3) categories only — must be relevant.
    • TIP: If you don’t see an appropriate category, contact me and I’ll add it.
  • Do not link to these sites: pornography, warez, malicious software, hate, religious, gambling, controlled substances (pharmaceutical), or any site that I deem as being inappropriate. Again, your site must be about dieting, weight loss and/or nutrition.

If you have a problem with any of the above rules, do not post!
