My Healthy Weight Loss Diet – Week 16

I’m back! In my diet to lose weight, I temporarily lost sight of my goal while working hard on a new business venture–how to learn Spanish (which will come in handy on my autumn windsurfing trips to Baja–and why I need to lose more weight). But now I’m back in the game and plan to post my healthy weight loss insights once a week, as I was doing in the past.

My weigh-in this morning revealed two things:

1. I haven’t lost weight in the 7 weeks since my last post–in fact I’ve gained 1.2 lbs in that time.

2. It’s now obvious that I’ll have to revise (upward) my weight loss goal–once again.

The new target weight is now 259 lbs by the end of September. I’m continuing the easily achievable (if I stick with it) weight loss of 2 lbs per week and will be reporting on how I accomplish this task.

This new target weight, if attained, will result in a total weight loss of 30 lbs since I started this campaign way back in February. 31 weeks may seem like a long time to lose 30 lbs, but if you look at the numbers so far, you’ll see that the weight–for the most part–stays off. That is the name of the game–keeping it off.
