Wow! Another 3lbs lost. How did I do it? By counting calories. Period. If you’ve been following this series of articles (My Healthy Weight Loss Diet) about my experiences–successes AND failures–with dieting and weight loss, you know that I’ve (finally) figured out my optimal caloric intake for losing weight–1600 per day.
If YOU are serious about losing weight, you NEED to count calories. Yes. I know it’s a royal pain to do so, but from my experience, you won’t lose any weight if you do not keep track of what you eat. With that said, I’ve been kicking around an idea that I want to pass on to you…
Would you like to see a “personal calorie counter” on this site? Would you use it? It would be free, of course, and would be secured with your own private login area. Or, would you rather have a downloadable software that runs on your computer? Please leave a comment about your thoughts on this matter.
I’m going to start work on the personal calorie counter soon, if, for no other reason than to do it for myself–it will make keeping track of my calories much easier. Again, if you would like to offer your input on this project, click here to leave a comment.
Next week I’m going to talk about how many pounds I’ve lost with my diet so far–stay tuned, this is exciting. And, as usual, here are…
This week’s reduced numbers:
- Average calories: 1562/day
- Average exercise: 10 mins/day
- Today’s weight: 272 (lbs)
- Last week’s weight: 275
- Weight loss: 3
