Wow! All that exercise (see below) and I end up the week with a weight gain. Of course, it’s all the calories that prevented me from attaining my weekly weight loss goal.
Now, here’s a question: did the extra exercise compel me to consume more calories? The answer is yes. Right now I’m looking at my weight loss spreadsheet–where I keep track of cals and exercise daily–and see that on the days of most exercise, I consumed the most calories.
What does this mean for my weight loss plan? Well, I’ll have to be more conscious of caloric intake; especially on those days that I do extra exercise.
What really irks me, is that this pares down my overall weight loss since I started this diet in April, down to only 6.6 pounds (3 kilos). By the way, the average weekly exercise for this week is the highest since I began…go figure.
This week’s heavy numbers:
- Average calories: 2604/day
- Average exercise: 42 mins/day
- Last week’s weight: 279.8
- Today’s weight: 282.6 (lbs)
- Weekly weight loss (gain): (2.8)
- Total weight loss: 6.6
