Instead of having a glass of apple juice, just eat the apple. The concentration of sugar in the juice is really high — it's like eating four of five apples.

To help curb your appetite you might want to think about eating a handful of almonds about 40 minutes before your next meal. This is an excellent way to eat to lose weight because your brain is being informed that you are receiving nutrients. Remember that you need to nourish your body and maintain a high metabolism in order to shed the pounds.
