Belly Fat

Want To Lose Belly Fat?

Has anyone ever been attracted to another by a big belly? Has anyone lengthened their life with a tremendous tummy? Probably not. And that big belly doesn't improve the fit of your clothing. With all the easy fast foods and your busy life, what can you do? If you really want to lose belly fat, it can be done. With a conscientious diet and continuous exercise, you will lose belly fat, and you will keep it off!

The usual mistake made by people attempting to lose belly fat is thinking that depriving themselves of food will work. If you don't eat enough and exercise regularly, you'll feel week, hungry and you won't be losing the inches. Another common error is to eat little and not exercise enough. Doing this won't help you lose that belly fat either.

This is not the way the body operates. Insufficient food and exercise causes your metabolism to slow down to compensate for the lack of food. You will burn calories, but less fat than with the proper blend of diet and exercise.

The Secret

The secret to diminishing that midriff is to decrease food intake, and increase daily exercise. You should be able to eat anything you want, as long as it has nutrients and the portions are smaller. Smaller portions let you have all the stuff you already enjoy, but by eating less, you will be a fat burning machine without the dreadful side effects that come with starving yourself.

If you get down to 1500 calories a day, then half an hour of stomach exercise should be enough to start burning fat. If you want to take it to the next level, then increase the exercise times as you see fit (no pun intended). But a half hour of stomach crunches are usually difficult enough for anyone to do.

The Difficulty

Why is it more difficult to lose belly fat than everywhere else on the body? It's not because you aren't losing fat, it's just that the stomach by nature has more of it. Also, when people are trying to lose belly fat, they're usually not making the most out of their exercise routine.

Don't stop between crunches, which slows down the process of burning fat. Go all the way through your routine, stopping only when you have to. Another great way for losing belly fat is doing twists. Stand with your legs apart, and twist your torso from side to side, while stretching your arms out to the sides. Toe touching is also a good one. All of these assist in slimming your waist and flattening your tummy.

When you begin your diet and exercise regime, remember not to get lazy. Missing a day will lead to missing more days, and pretty soon you're binging on burgers and fries while flattening the couch cushions. When you achieve your magnificent midriff, don't stop exercising. Now that you're fit, keep it that way!
